The team you’ll be part of

Security Business Group is responsible for creating security solutions and practical applications of ideas to help our customers secure their infrastructure and resources, mitigate security risks and prevent modern world treats. We mainly develop software applications in various technologies from DevOps, backend up to frontend areas, that address specific security issues. Implementing agile practices, we deliver for our customers well developed and comprehensively tested products iteratively, few times during year.

What you will learn and contribute to

Joining us allow you to work hand in hand with experienced software engineers within scrum team. You will learn practical aspects of software development using professional tools and technologies from Full Stack portfolio (backend, frontend, DevOps). As Working Student you will contribute individually by creating software deliverables, writing and executing software tests and co-work with other team members. You will have buddy assigned who will help you to gain basic knowledge and will help you grow over the time. You will be joining team who develop software solutions related to XDR domain related to identify and response of security incidents. Supporting Nokia as Working Student let you start your professional carrier with high success potential for the future.

As part of our team, you will:

• Contribute to technical refinement and feature estimations withing agile practices
• Write software code for dedicated features
• Write tests and perform automated and manual tests
• Maintain the already written software by fixing bugs
• Write documentation

Your skills and experience

We are looking for ambitious and engaged students who want to develop further their skills and learn professional environment operations on real software problems.

You have:

• Programming skills of Java, JavaScript and Python
• At least basic experience of using Docker, Git/Gerrit, Linux
• Communicative English language

It would be nice if you also had:

• Basic Cloud knowledge
• Kubernetes and microservices knowledge
