Lab&Testing Support – Working Student

Working Student is a long-term paid internship, that allows you to kickstart your fabulous journey in the IT and Telecom world. As our Trainee you can have experience working in such areas that correspond to full-time engineering jobs. The internship usually lasts from 6 to 24 months. Position: Lab&Testing Support – Working Student
Duration: 12 months (possibility to prolong to the next 12 months)
Date: 1.06.2025–31.05.2026
Location: Poland, Wrocław (on site)
Education Recommendations: Computer Science, Telecommunications or related field

Our MN RAN RD VRF WRO4 department tests and integrates new functionalities at the System Level, using both manual and automated methods (Python, Robot Framework). We support 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies, and are actively involved in innovative areas like Cloud RAN. Our testing environment includes a well-equipped laboratory and simulator solutions.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

As a part of our team, you will:

• Handle technical and engineering tasks within the laboratory
• Take care of the inventory for common laboratory assets
• Support other laboratory users in their daily work
• Enhance your telecommunications competencies in 5G and its evolution
• Perform simple electrical and logical installations
• Repair electronic and electrical devices
• Update internal technical documentation
• Perform soldering tasks
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Support other laboratory users in their daily work

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have:

• Active student status (for at least one year)
• Good communication skills in English – both verbal and written
• Availability to work from the office (Wrocław laboratory)
• Knowledge of Linux (command line)
• Understanding of network technologies, Cisco vendor-specific knowledge (CCNA or equivalent knowledge)
• Knowledge of how to read electrical and electronic diagrams
• Willingness to learn/improve testing techniques and methodologies
• Pro-active and self-dependent attitude as a test expert, fighting for your feature as well as to be able to work as a team player and support others with your know-how
• Ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and solve complex problems

It would be nice if you also had:

• Technical background in telecommunications (wireless or fixed networks), system and network performance test processes, test environment setup and debugging methods
• SEP certificate cat. E1
• Ability to diagnose and service electronics and electrical devices at a basic level
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Soldering skills
