Our Network Management team is delivering cutting-edge products that help telecom operators manage their networks and ensure a connected world. You will be part of a software development team responsible for the complete development lifecycle with a strong focus on usability and operation efficiency for our customers. As part of the team, you will have a key role in shaping the future of our product by ensuring that architectural proposals meet the challenging requirements of rapidly growing telecom networks and keep us competitive in a rapidly evolving market. What you will learn and contribute to

Depends on your personal profile, skills and interests you can join as Working Student in one of our Network Management teams. Currently, we are looking for passionate talents in 3 areas: Java, DevOps & UI (in the UI team we use React, Typescript, Cypress, Robot/Selenium). 

Working as a Java or UI Working Student software engineer you will be:

• Refining and implementing user stories with a team to deliver new features for our products
• Providing unit, module, integration and end-to-end tests for the developed software
• Taking part in implementation & testing cycles as part of our scrum teams

Working as a Dev Ops Working Student software engineer you will:

• Support daily software integration
• Monitor and configure of CI/CD processes
• Develop internal tools for CI/CD
• Manage version control system GIT/Gerrit
• Automate building tools
• Investigate the problems and perform root cause analysis

Your skills and experience 

You have:

• Status of active student of Computer Science or equivalent education for a period of min. 12 months onwards
• Java programming knowledge or Python & Bash Scripting or UI frameworks & development knowledge
• Practical knowledge of GIT/Gerrit/Jenkins
• Knowledge of software development processes and tools
• Ability to communicate, cooperate and solve problems
• English B1/B2

It would be nice if you also had:

• Practical knowledge of containers (Docker or Kubernetes)
